I was called to the Alberta Bar in August 2023 and have practiced in family law since then. I began my career in Lacombe, where I practiced for two years before moving my practice to Edmonton in 2025 to Spectrum Family Law LLP. My experience in both rural and urban family law practices has given me the opportunity to work with a wide range of families and circumstances.
I chose to practice family law because I enjoy working with people and helping them through some of the most challenging transitions in their lives. I believe that family law is about much more than the legal issues in front of us. It is about understanding the people and families behind those issues, listening to what matters most to them, and helping them find a path forward.
I have a BSc in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, with distinction. My background in these areas has also shaped the way I approach my practice. I find that this background complements family law particularly well because understanding people, communication, and relationships is such an important part of helping clients navigate family disputes.
I have a particular passion for collaborative family law. I believe that, whenever possible, families benefit from resolving their issues in a way that is respectful, constructive, and focused on their future rather than on conflict. I enjoy helping clients work through difficult issues, identify what is truly important to them, and find solutions that work for their unique family.
I was born in Venezuela and am fluent in Spanish, which allows me to work with clients in both English and Spanish. Ultimately, my goal is to make my clients feel heard, supported, and confident in the decisions they make for themselves and their families.
