EDUCATION
Amanda received her B.Sc. (1999) and her B.A. (2003) from the University of Alberta before attending law school and graduating with an LL.B. in 2006. Amanda articled and subsequently practiced in Edmonton.
PRACTICE
Amanda is an experience and compassionate lawyer who represents individuals and companies in a wide variety of litigation matters including construction, corporate, employment, family and personal injury matters, estate and real estate matters.
APPROACH TO LAW
Amanda believes that each client is important regardless of the nature of their issue. She strives to respond to her clients’ questions promptly and thoroughly. She wants to be her client’s trusted advisor.
Amanda’s goal is to effectively resolve each matter, preferably through negotiation and settlement.
ASSOCIATIONS AND INTERESTS
Amanda has been a member of the Canadian Bar Association since her law school days and is the income Secretary for the Alberta Branch Executive. Amanda is an instructor for CPLED, the bar admission course, teaching a variety of modules including client management and negotiations. Amanda is also a member of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association.
Amanda sits as Chair on the Board of Directors for Norwood Family and Child Resources Services, a not-for-profit child and family resource centre.
