Jenna graduated with distinction from the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan in 2015 and subsequently completed her articles as a judicial clerk at the Court of Queen’s Bench in Saskatchewan. In 2016, Jenna moved to Edmonton and was called to the Alberta Bar in August 2016. At that time, she commenced her practice in family law, which continues to be her area of focus today.
Guiding others as they navigate trying times has always been a role that has enticed Jenna. Prior to pursuing a degree in law, she obtained a B.A. Psychology (2009) and a Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing (2009). Following, Jenna pursued a career as a mental health therapist. In this role, Jenna gained a great deal of insight and experience into the effective resolution of personal and interpersonal conflict.
As a collaborative family law lawyer, Jenna remains motivated to guide her clients through their legal matters, seeking an outcome that minimizes the negative economic and emotional impact of their relationship dissolution. Jenna has experience representing family law clients in both the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King’s Bench, though she finds the real magic happens at the negotiating table. Jenna is eager to offer her clients the plethora of benefits the collaborative process offers.
When Jenna is not practicing law, she is either at the hockey rink with her son, on the soccer field with her daughter, or watching her tornado-like toddler destroy her home.
She looks forward to meeting you!
