I am a lawyer at Bruyer & Mackay LLP, formerly Gordon Zwaenepoel. I joined the firm in 2014 and practice exclusively in the area of family law. I have experience representing both adults and children in the Alberta Courts. I also greatly enjoy assisting clients to resolve their family law issues without the need for court intervention, through the Collaborative Family Law Process.

I have always had a passion for working with families and children. Prior to attending law school and beginning my legal career, I obtained a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work. I worked for a number of years providing psychotherapeutic, family mediation, and crisis intervention services to children, families, and youths presenting with various problems including addiction, trauma, and serious and persistent mental illness.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my partner, our daughter, and our two dogs, as well as engaging in various endurance sports activities.
