Campbell, Shelley

Shelley Campbell is a Registered Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience supporting children, parents, and families through the challenges of separation, divorce, and family transition. Her practice focuses on helping families navigate these changes with compassion, clarity, and a child-centred approach. She believes that while separation marks the end of a relationship, it also presents an opportunity to establish healthier patterns of communication, cooperation, and parenting for the future.

As a Registered Collaborative Family Professional, Shelley works alongside lawyers and financial professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing therapeutic support, education, and guidance throughout the collaborative process. She also has extensive experience working with families involved in high-conflict parenting disputes, court-related interventions, and parent-child relationship concerns. Shelley assists parents in developing effective co-parenting relationships, creating developmentally appropriate parenting plans, and supporting children as they adjust to family change. Her approach is practical, solution-focused, and always guided by the best interests of the child.

Prior to establishing her private practice, Shelley spent many years with Alberta Children and Family Services, where she worked with children and families experiencing child protection concerns, trauma, intimate partner violence, substance use, mental health challenges, and complex parenting issues. This extensive clinical experience provides her with a comprehensive understanding of family systems, child development, and the impact of conflict on children and families. Shelley is committed to helping families reduce conflict, improve communication, and develop practical strategies that foster healthier relationships and positive outcomes during and after separation.
