Chahal, Sukhjeevan

Sukhjeevan Chahal is a graduate in Management and Law and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta Bar in the year 2015.

Before founding Chahal Law, Sukh accumulated over 20 years of professional experience, holding senior roles in the Indian Government in the areas of public policy and governance.

Sukh focuses his practice on Family Law/Divorce, Real Estate, Corporate/Commercial/Business Law. He has been practicing in Edmonton and Grande Prairie region for nearly a decade, developing extensive skill and knowledge of divorce and family mediation. He offers collaborative divorce and mediation services, believing that Collaborative Law provides more viable option for families navigating a marriage breakdown. Sukh is committed to guiding clients through difficult times, helping them make informed, sustainable decisions. He works closely with his clients to achieve best possible outcomes while balancing their goals and interests, ensuring a smooth and participatory process.

Sukh is dedicated to giving back to the community whether by serving on the Legal Aid roster or to provide affordable legal representation to new immigrants and international students.

Outside of work, Sukh enjoys spending weekends with his family over a good meal while watching a basketball game (Go Raptors!).

Sukh is fluent in Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu and can also provide services in these languages.
